The present hybrid government led by Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, sends a belated congratulatory message, most of the people even in Pakistan believe that it was just a cut-and-paste attempt.

It may not be surprising that instead of seeking advice from his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, a three-time prime minister, who had attended the first swearing-in ceremony of PM Narendra Modi in 2014, perhaps got a congratulatory message at the army headquarters.

For attending the ceremony, Sharif was accused of being 'yar of Modi'. It was used as a powerful tool for discrediting Nawaz Sharif, thus facilitating the political rise of the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan. In this conspiracy the then army chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa and his crony,  Faize Hamid, the then chief of the intelligence services, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) had not only manipulated the docile and corrupt judges of the Supreme Court to ensure long-term prison terms for Nawaz Sharif and rigged the polls to install Imran Khan Later, Shahbaz Sharif successfully regained the confidence of the army, and

Article at a Glance

Pakistan's hybrid government, led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, sent a belated congratulatory message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which many saw as a cut-and-paste attempt.

India's decision not to invite Pakistani politicians, including Shahbaz, to Modi's swearing-in ceremony has been interpreted as a deliberate humiliation by the Pakistani media.

However, it's possible that India wants to allow the hybrid government to function without interference from the Pakistani army. The article suggests that the Pakistani army and ISI have manipulated politics in the past, and their current actions, including using terrorists to attack India, are a shameful revenge.

Pakistan has missed an opportunity to interact with regional leaders, and its inner contradictions may lead to policy paralysis. The presence of other regional leaders at Modi's ceremony has made it a historic event, but Pakistan's absence has been felt.

the new army chief General Asim Munir too successfully manipulated the judiciary to send Khan to jail

India's Reluctance

It cannot be ruled out that India deliberately did not invite Pakistani politicians and the present PM Shahbaz. The foreign office doesn't want Shahbaz to suffer imprisonment like Nawaz for pursuing policies against the wishes of the GHQ.

It is natural for the Pakistani media to interpret the Indian decision not to invite Shahbaz as a deliberate humiliation of their country. On the other hand, perhaps, India is keen that the army should allow even this hybrid government. The anger of the people of Pakistanis is genuine being a twin born with me in present-day partitioned India born from the womb of a cunning white mother e. by legislation enacted in 1947 by the House of Commons.

A Shameful Revenge

In a bid to justify its anti-India narrative, GHQ and the ISI, Pakistan use terrorists to renew their attacks on the soft borders on the line of control.

This time, the terrorists have used the state of weapons obtained from the Americans either directly or through the pro-Pakistani terrorist outfits still active on the Afghanistan borders, especially the dreaded Haqqanis following the Deobandi or Wahabi cult of the Sunni Muslims.

Few Choices for Pakistan

It is true that in recent months, the bafoons at the Capitol in Washington have renewed their love for the Pakistani army. They appear not averse to the renewed terrorist activities in the Jammu and Kashmir region. The financial help to Pakistan is accompanied by allowing it to obtain lethal weapons having software for hitting the target

However, Pakistan has missed an opportunity to interact with the leaders of the region.

The presence of Bangladesh PM, Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, President Ranil Wickeramsinghle of Sri Lanka, and the Nepalese PM Kamal Dahal, who was accompanied by his winsome daughter, Ganga, a rare blending of beauty, talent, and confidence, made the third swearing-in ceremony a historical event.

It is yet to be assessed the diplomatic spin-off of the participation of President Mohamed Muizzu of Maldives, who has been elected by projecting himself as a pro-China leader. Even after being elected, he was seen criticizing India. However, his presence in New Delhi might end the present impasse between the two friendly countries.

It is being stated that the presence of Shahbaz in

the oath-taking ceremony might have improved India-Pakistan ties. Unfortunately, Asim Munir is just dum with, perhaps, he was being superseded, but luck favored him. Shahbaz Sharif elevated gik, perhaps, much to the discomfiture of Bajwa and Faize Hamid.

The inner contradictions within the army establishment, perhaps, make even the hybrid government, suffering from perennial policy paralysis.
