Arrest of  BHU Culprits Exposes Hinduatva’s Ugly Face

On the first day of New Year, news broke out that the UP Police has arrested three youth on rape and molestation charges. Two among the three arrested are the convener and co-convener of the IT cell of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s city unit of Varanasi which is also the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Arrests only show the tip of the proverbial iceberg of the ugly face of Hinduatva forces which in fact has remained hidden from the broad public view. A tale  of high morals and good characters has been told to people by RSS , the ideological spring source of BJP. to make them believe that all those associated with BJP are nice, self sacrificing people of good character practising high values of social and personal life.
Now that the ruling BJP is in absolute power  has nearly captured almost all institutions including the mainline media, criminal traits of average BJP activists  are in full play .With  no fear of law in their heart  saffron party activists are indulging in all sorts of questionable activities .             
In the BHU  incident the worse is the fact that  two culprits had committed the gruesome crime earlier also but since girl students did not lodge a complaint they remained free. The fact that for two months  these culprits had been protected is also surprising. There is the need to enquire  as to who all had this been  protecting them.
 This is  not  an isolated incident of questionable behaviour of BJP cadres. Many reports of criminal activities by BJP workers have been coming from various states. Quite a few of such things never come to light because people in power suppress information of such conduct. 

The RSS-BJP leaders cannot be absolved from the blame and shun the   responsibility of  what party cadres are doing. Hindutav , their ideology and  their  guiding philosophy  has created an atmosphere of hatred , aggression , intolerance and social disequilibrium. They have not spoken out  when they  should have to stop their cadres from wrong doing. They did nothing to protect  and promote high moral values and rich traditions of Hinduism whose defenders  they claim to be. 
  Perhaps the situation has gone out of their hands and it is a little late now for them to mend it .
