Memorial Lecture on the Importance of Artificial Intelligence(AI)

On the evening of October 19, 2024, the MBKM Foundation organised a memorial lecture on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The aim of this memorial lecture was to help people understand the importance of AI and make people aware of its impact on society.

The memorial lecture began with a floral tribute to Shri Manmohan Swarup ji, where all present honoured his memories. Prof. Pradeep Mathur, Chairman, MBKM Foundation delivered the welcome address, in which he welcomed the guests.

After that, the Foundation's General Secretary, Mr Rajiv Mathur, introduced the MBKM Foundation and expressed its objectives.

After him, Mr R.S. Atroley  recalled the memories of Shri Manmohan Swarup and said, "Shri Swarup ji always gave priority to social welfare in his life, and his life will remain an ideal for us."

On the evening of October 19, 2024, the M.B.K.M. Foundation launched Artificial Intelligence Organised a memorial lecture on AI. The objective of the event was to explain the importance of AI and its impact on society, as well as to honour the memory of Shri Manmohan Swarup.

The programme began with a tribute to Shri Swarup. Prof. Pradeep Mathur, Chairman, of MBKM Foundation delivered the welcome address. Artificial Intelligence Prof. G.V.S. Rao, an expert in Artificial Intelligence shed light on various aspects of AI, including machine learning and deep learning. He also discussed the concept of artificial intelligence. Gave examples of practical uses, such as healthcare and education.

Chief Guest Dr Yogendra Narayan on Artificial Intelligence Shared their views on the future of NITI Aayog and remembered the contribution of Shri Swaroop. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Nitin Atroley.

The main focus of the program was the Artificial Intelligence Memorial Lecture, for which Anil Johri ji introduced Artificial Intelligence expert Prof. G.V.S. Rao. Anil Johri ji appreciated his contribution to the field of Artificial Intelligence and welcomed him.

Prof. G.V.S. Rao expressed his views on artificial intelligence and shed light on various aspects of this technology. He explained important concepts like how artificial intelligence works, machine learning, and deep learning.

Prof Rao gave examples of practical uses of artificial intelligence such as health care, education, and business automation. He said, "Artificial intelligence is a modern technology that has the potential to improve every sector. We should develop individuals and society by using this technology properly."

After this, Information Technology expert Mr Abhinav Srivastava also expressed his views on this subject and highlighted the infinite possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest Dr. Yogendra Narayan Ji delivered the presidential address. Dr Narayan, former Secretary General of Rajya Sabha former Defence Secretary of India and Vice Chancellor of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, shared his views on the future of artificial intelligence and its impact. He said, "New opportunities are being created in the world through artificial intelligence, but we also have to be cautious about its misuse. Not only technology, we also have to understand the social impact of this technology."

Dr. Narayan ji paid his respects to Shri Manmohan Swarup by remembering his contributions. He said, “Shri Swarup’s thoughts will always be a guiding light for us, and the M.B.K.M. Foundation will continue to carry forward his ideals.”

On this occasion, senior guests from fields like education, journalism, law, banking and insurance services, army and health services were also honoured.

At the end of the program, Nitin Atroley gave the vote of thanks. He expressed his gratitude to all the guests who were present on this special occasion.

Through this Artificial Intelligence Memorial Lecture, MBKM Foundation spread awareness about Artificial Intelligence. This program was an inspiring message for those who want to contribute to the field of Artificial Intelligence. In the times to come, this effort of MBKM Foundation will help society to move forward on the path of new thinking and development.
