Hockey India will have a tough challenge on hands to get spectators for the FIH Pro League Mini Tournaments at Rourkela and Bhubaneswar from February 3. Indian women hockey team, fresh from its Silver medal triumph in the Hockey 5s World Cup at Muscat, will face the challenge of the Netherlands, Australia, China and the USA. All these four teams are looking forward to their participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. India is the only women team that will compete in Rourkela and Bhubaneswar FIH Pro League games without any interest in the prestigious Olympic Games later this year. Why spectators will turn up when they know their team is not in the reckoning for the coming Olympic Games.
