It was a health awareness programme with a difference -- a blend both inspiring and informative!
It was a unique and divine mix of spirituality and naturopathy that brought forth half a dozen of experts from various fields, including acupressure, sermonising those seeking to heal, harmonise and balance all three dimensions of human existence: the soul, mind and body through holistic approach and thereby bidding goodbye to medicines!
The occasion was 2nd Sh. Manmohan Swaroop memorial lecture under the banner of MBKM Foundation! Venue was NEA Auditorium, Noida.
In the words of chief guest, Sh Dev Dutt, IAS (Retd), former Chairman of Noida Authority, the significance of the initiative was the first completely free lecture programme on naturopathy in Noida. He described it as much more than a welcome move that should be repeated often!
Earlier greeting the guests, Prof Pradeep Mathur, Founder Chairman of the MBKM Foundation and a veteran media personality, said that the Foundation's journey had always been more than an institutional endeavour; it had grown like a family, with invaluable contributions from public participation. Joining him in welcoming were Director General Rajeev Mathur and Patron of the Foundation
The Foundation now envisioned creating a new chapter in which a healthy society could be built without dependence on medicines, he added.
He said that the collective effort of the body and the community would help people rediscover the wisdom they had gradually lost. It could also pitch in towards reducing the nearly Rs 1 lakh crore spent on healthcare and medical treatment, thereby freeing resources for the country's development.
The team invited by the Foundation from Rishikesh included Acharya Shiva Kumar, a devoted follower of the fifth Jagadguru, Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who has imbibed the spiritual knowledge imparted by him; acupressure specislist Dr Sandeep Chauhan; Acharya Rewati ; Yoga Acharya Aarti and Acharya Shikha.

She also presented some melodious and deeply moving devotional songs, which touched the hearts of the audience.
